Artist Mickey Dean says "I started playing guitar in 1966." "I know a lot of Monkees songs." Mickey knows more than that. Mickey Dean knows how to create a sizzling country/rockabilly sound. Living in Millersville PA. Mickey has a vast volume of songs, one could get lost in his music and stay there happily. Mickey's music has that timeless country feel and is well crafted from beginning to end. His first CD Billy Bobs is produced by Don Peris of the Innocence Mission (RCA). All five songs on Billy Bob's soared to number one and with good reason, they're great. Mickey scored Rolling Stone's Editor's Pick and an interview with Newsweek along with a record deal with Llist Records where he recorded his second CD entitled NA$H VEGA$.

You can give credit to Mickey's musical influences which include the Everly Bros., Beatles, Johnny Cash, Junior Brown, Latin Playboys, New York Dolls, Jimmy Bryant & Speedy West for his musical inspiration. Helping Mickey create his music is his band The Sugar Kings members consist of Stu Huggins vocals - Jeff Culp snare - Mike Bitts Upright Bass and BassVI - Jamie Hess snare - Ron Bitler Upright Bass.
