Try to Relate

by Micki

"Try to Relate" is a surreal step into some characters created from inside the mind of MiCKi. This "Virginia Blend" genre is a mix of alternative/progressive with strong vocals from a rock/punk singer with a little swing-groove flavor on some tracks.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
MiCKi has a unique smooth and smokey voice with control and power. She uses her instrument in a-cappella performances to evoke emotion and contrast. When performing with other musicians in a band setting, her range is spot-lighted when moving from bluegrassy twang to bluesy shouts. Her hard rock, punk and alternative roots blend with these influences to create a one-of-a-kind sound in her original works. A new "Virginia Blend".
