A Celtic Collection is an enchanting tapestry reviving the authentic style of Traditional Celtic music. Comprised mainly of old Irish Immigrant Ballads. Mick's passionate tones define the very soul of these truly magical Celtic lands. His music is the water of life and the whiskey of passion! It denotes all our joy and all our sadness, it is music to live for and to die for!
Instruments used in A CELTIC COLLECTION are:
6 and 12 string guitars, mandolin, viola, violin,
button box, penny flute (tin whistle), wood flute,
5 string and tenor banjo's, and bodhrán (celtic hand drum).
Mick recently retired from his "real job", and is now pursuing the true love of his life, his music! Organizing, re-recording and self publishing all the songs he's composed over the years. This is the ONLY Irish CD to buy this year!
author: In The Chips RecordingThe CD features twelve traditional vocal covers. The songs range in diversity from the age-old ‘Star of County Down’ to Paul McCarntney’s popular ‘Mull of Kintyre’. All songs feature his haunting Irish vocals. He brings soulful experience and a wonderful Irish brogue to his vocal adaptations of traditional Irish music.
