Album Notes

Determined to form a band, Yvon returned to China at the end of 2004. Within a matter of months he was out playing with bass player Billy's band, kicking things off with a massive outdoor show in Chengdu. In 2007 the band decided it was time to record their debut album. With the help of keyboardist Mark MacLeod the main tracks were recorded within a few weeks, but it was a year before additional overdubs and mixing were complete. At last, all the patience and hard work paid off as the album, "M.I.C.",saw the light of day in September 2008. The album features different styles ranging from Straight Rock & Roll to Melodic Grunge. In addition to the mix of Chinese and Canadian influences in the project, an international lineup of special guests from from Japan, U.S.A., Malaysia and Sweden are included as well.

Driving, Gritty Hard Rock,Cool Melodic catchy tunes Sprinkled with Keyboards well crafted album that will make you want to hear some more Overall this is a cool CD, very entertaining and marketable. The songs are short, sweet, fun and diverse and at nine tracks running it at just over 30 minutes it’s fair to say that this album is a real throwback to the early days of rock music. ..Well done guys

Having read it a second time I noticed the article for M.I.C. (made in china) is not writen by Bruce Turnbull but by Neil Daniels and this person really enjoyed your album and gave it a Rockin 5 Powerpoints out of 9, Wow I mean this Rock Magazine features bands like AC/DC and Alice Cooper on its covers and is distributed across Europe with sales acceeding 60,000+...Kudos for that Critic my friend, this is good stuff...I think Neil played it very conservetively because it is a first album and if he would listen to it a few times he would appreciate the excellent Guitar work imprinted in your work and give it a solid 9 Powerpoints out of 9...I give it a 10+... Your #1 Fan Always, Don Hebert.
