The first album of the Barefeet Productions trilogy, Barefeet & Pregnant, is now available for $11.99. Fall into the story of 1st Born, Middle Child, The Drifta, and all their followers. Some have been following since the siblings were children, singing on the front porch on Youngstown, Ohio's east side. Currently, the sister-brother song-writing duo, 1st and Middle are mid-way through the sequel, Labor & Delivery (a double-disc). L&D will release 2009, while the final chapter, Train Up A Child, is not set for preproduction until 2010.
Barefeet & Pregnant is Middle Child's 2nd solo release. The first release is The Intro found at CDBaby.com/middlechild.

A Personal and Audacious Project by an Extraordinary Artist

My first encounter with Middle Child was on stage at Ford Field, in Detroit. I knew from her live performance, that this record was going to be a breath of fresh air. As my band and I may the grueling drive from Detroit to Norfolk, VA, we listened over and over again to the beautiful music on the Barefoot & Pregnant project. We were all floored. What makes this project so wonderful is how candidly Middle Child captures moments, thoughts and emotions. There's no pretention. What you find here is incredibly honest thoughts about real life situations. In an industry where music seems to be absolutely lifeless, Middle Child's sound so refreshing. The project is choc full of good music, soul searching moments and flawless production. You are doing your thing, Middle Child. Keep it up!
