I am a HUGE Georgia fan! She is fantastic! I have seen Georgia several times and enjoyed every minute. Her voice, talent and personality are incredible and refreshing! I loved her "Unchanged" album- I have almost worn out my CD, and this new album is even more impressive. GREAT Music, songs and yes, the music stays with you (in a very nice way!)

I saw Georgia here in Austin May 2, 2008. She was the warm-up for Leo Kottke. Well, she dwarfed Leo. I'm serious. She is so talented! I echo what Gary Stone wrote -- see this beautiful and talented lady if you can. If you can't, invest in the CD. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

My wife and I had seen Georgia perform at The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. We were tremendously impressed with her incredible songwriting, effortlessly musical voice and engaging stage personality. So when we got word that she had a new CD available,we were thrilled. But I must say,we weren't prepared for the beauty that is this record. It's difficult to even define the musical genre here because it glides so confidently across pop, standards, jazz, adult contemporary,R+B and country.I guess I would agree with CD Baby's take that if you like Norah Jones or KD Lang or Diana Krall, you will LOVE this album. But I honestly think that would be shortchanging the potential audience for "Things I Never Thought I Knew".Because it's really for anyone who misses just plain great music. The original songs (at least 5 of which sound like instant classics!) have gorgeous melodies, lyrics that will touch you and make your heart smile, and Georgia sings the hell out of them.I can guarantee that after two or three listens, these tracks will be swimming around in your head all day and allnight. They just stay with you(in a good way),but I'm warning you, they won't go away easily! Can you tell I like this album? It's my first review here on CD Baby after all these years of purchasing stuff, but this CD gave me a reason to want to spread the word.
