The 13th Hour is another awesome addition to the collection of music which the Midnight SYndicate has created. I first heard about this album at a game shop when i was talking to the owner about the Call of Cthulhu ccg and d20 role playing game, he put the cd on and told me how awesome it is to play during a game to set the mood. Setting mood is something which the Midnight Syndicate does an amazing job at, while listening to this album you find yourself in this amazing world of horror. I listen to this album a lot while I am reading, working on stories, or spending time home alone; it sets a very somber dark mood which unleashes my creative force. Their style of soundscaping can be used in haunted attractions, as an aid during a gaming session, or to just listen to. for those of you who don't know, this album was marketed towards me at the game shop as being a musical aid to the Call of Cthulhu RPG... listen to it while reading Lovecraft.

I thought it was perfect for setting me in the Halloween mood for this year. I love how creepy and desiving it can be. Great work guys. ^_^

"Born of the Night" was my favorite Midnight Syndicate CD... until I heard their latest effort, "The 13th Hour". This CD showcases Midnight Syndicate at the top of their game. I can only wonder what they have in store for us next.

I purchased this for a Halloween party, and it is perfect!!! The sounds on this thing frightned my dog so bad I had to play it for 2 days for him to get used to it, and he was still uneasy when he heard the footsteps on the path
