Album Notes

Utah has long been recognized for its collection of important avant garde bands. One of the more influential of these, and with a substantial cult following, is Midvale School for the Gifted. Comprised of Ralphy, Lawrence, and Milhaus, and named after their junior high school, Midvale School for the Gifted produce an impressive sonic assault on the ear facilities of the listener.

Reminiscent of their favorite artists Victim's Family and Sir Millard Mulch, Midvale School for the gifted put their signature spin on a mixture of punk rock mentality and cross-genre musical experimentation.

Their one and only album was created as a companion to their 1999-2000 science fair project "Why are people stupid/Are humans made of meat?" which resulted in the destruction of nearly 900 students, teachers, and faculty members. It is a significant piece of art that is recognized by all important music critics.
