Here is the long awaited Greatest hits and video collection from one of Salsa's most legendary and remembered acts,MIGUEL,OSCAR Y LA FANTASIA.
It was in the summer of 1985 when Miguel,Oscar y La Fantasia made their debut with already TWO major Salsa hits under their belt. The songs "EL AMOR ACABA" and the legendary Salsa Classic "GOOD LOVIN'" were already major hits when Miguel Martin and Oscar Diaz came out with their incredible band LA FANTASIA.
The two singers,after having left the legendary New York Salsa band "CHARANGA CASINO",were an inmediate success in major latin music markets.
They had a total of seven hits in the span of only two years,cracking the Billboard chart in 1985 with "GOOD LOVIN'"
Their arrangements were highly sophisticated for their time
and they took many chances,in both their music and their image. Their musical arrangements were very sophisticated and ahead of their time. The great New York arranger and conductor MARTY SHELLER and the incredibly talented Puerto Rican pianists and arrangers RICKY GONZALEZ and LANNIE BATTISTINI are all featured in this ANTOLOGIA as they were the main musical arrangers for MIGUEL,OSCAR Y LA FANTASIA.
