Album Notes
DEEP BEACH is the Space Music place we go to relax, to let down, to return to being a child again. It is a New Age music place of peace, quiet, and solitude. It is in that place of silence, that place where we are certain of what is real, that we feel God’s presence. Using the hardware and synthesizers of today and yesterday, Mike Borger creates a master recording of shifting sand, ocean surf, soaring skies, spinning galaxies and the profound peace and unity of it all. Enjoy a true Healing Music experience as a great synthesizer record of an encounter with the Divine!

Mike Borger started playing Hammond Organ in second grade and gained great keyboard skills through many years of study and a multitude of music-playing experiences. While playing for church services and with choirs he took the journeyman’s road of professional music gigs in supper clubs, bars, wedding receptions, and large hall events. Through the years he expanded his keyboard work to piano, electric piano, and nearly all synthesizer instruments known to man – and a few really weird ones! He expanded his skills through studying the music of great keyboard masters like Vangelis, Jimmy Smith, Raphael, Jonn Serrie, Bill Evans, Ray Lynch, David Lantz, Joe Zawinul, Kevin Braheny, and Constance Demby. Other strong influences are Miles Davis, Douglas Blue Feather, Paul Horn, Stephen Hill's radio show "Music from the Hearts of Space," and many others. Mike Borger continues to strive for a conscious synthesis of the old with the new, of the familiar with the unusual, and finding new ways to explore the role of consciousness in the cosmos - finding our true God-ordained role in the universe.
