This all new release features some of Nashville's' more prominent and respected musicians tailoring music for the Trop- Rock crowd. The songs are Parrothead inspired and written with the end result of you popping a cold one and relaxing into the music. The theme of the album is escapism at its' core. Tropical vacations, Southern girls, all of the things you would rather be doing than working and paying bills.
Mike Broward is joined by producer/ engineer, P.T. Houston in this Nashville recording with musicians, Brian Pruitt on drums and percussion, Brian Davidson on guitars and Mandolin, Mike Rojos on keys and accordion, Don Kerse on Bass, Doyle Grisham on pedal steel and dobro, and Don Sheffield on trumpet.
The track titles tell you where you're going.
Parrothead Rehab, Just Not Today, Floribama, The Road To Rum, I want to Quit My Job, Lucky Man, Alligators, Lighten Up!, and It's Conga Time, suggest a variety of scenes while tying in an overall vibe of Island adventure.

Trop Rock at it's BEST
author: Jake Thomas
I listened to this cd for the 1st time while sitting in rainy traffic at 5 pm and it was one of the shortest rides home.
I was taken on journey to the Islands and by the time I got home I didn't remember how I got there.
Mike has put together one of the best..I do mean the best Trop Rock cd's recorded. The production, writing and Mike's ability to sing and take you away from your dailey rat race is what any and every Parrothead needs.
This is a instant classic cd...Mike you have raised the bar!!!!
