Album Notes

Since a child Mike has been involved with music. Growing up in North Bay Ontario, he was surrounded by many people with a love and fascination for performance, and people who had the time to dedicate to it. After finding the guitar at age 8, Mike eventually made it his main instrument. Since moving to Toronto and graduating with honours from Humber College's Jazz program, Mike has become a regular on the scene in Toronto, Canada.

Mike's music comes out of love for many musical styles and approaches. This, his debut jazz album, is a sensistive blend of modern and traditional jazz. Much of the music was written during his time in Bermuda while playing a regular show from April 2005 to Jan 2006. Performing with him on the album are Artie Roth on Bass and Davide Direnzo on Drums.
