Album Notes

For his seventh release, Mike Corrado’s new album entitled Start Saving Me has been three years in the making. Start Saving Me contains 11 brand new tracks filled with the rollercoaster of emotions and personal events that have taken place during the three years since his previous release. Events which have included a deployment to Iraq, birth of his second daughter, several moves and transfers with the Marines and garnering national radio and television airplay for his song “On My Watch Tonight” from the 2005 CD Falling Awake. Falling Awake brought Mike to the national spotlight on CNN, Rolling Stone Magazine and landing several songs from the album in major television series.

On tracks like “Can’t Wait,” “I’m Willing,” Cut Me Loose” and “I Still Believe” Mike once again teamed up with long time friends and fellow band members Lamont Sydnor (Drums), Adrian Duke (Hammond/Keys) and Tommy Brothers (Electric Guitars) to blend elements of rock, jazz, and soul reminiscent of Mike’s earlier releases and days of performing over 200 shows a year. A sound that continues to help build an ever increasing grass roots fan base.
