It was a small town upbringing that helped plant the seeds for Mike's later ventures with rhythm and rhyme. "Lots of bonfire parties in fields, and cruising around listening to music. I have so many influences, I could drop names all day. If I hear a song that makes me stop and listen, and I relate to it, I consider that an influence. When I discovered independent music my whole world changed."
Mike and his band currently stay busy in the south Louisiana night clubs, and other than putting on country rock shows, Mike also enjoys the singer/songwriter acoustic gigs.
For now Mike has just released his debut album "Hours Later." A mainly all acoustic record which was meant for documentation at first. "We had one night of studio time, I just wanted something recorded. I felt the songs were ready to be heard. There isn't a lot of production on this cd, but I'm really proud of this album, and the guys like Ken Veron and Travis Domingue, and everyone else who helped out. 'Hours Later' we had an album!"
We look forward to what you can do with more time Mike.
