Album Notes

the new record took a year and was mastered by the Jack Endino in my hometown, Seattle. I put "everything but the kitchen sink" into it. I used acoustic guitars and a few electric ones to make things interesting (hence the title), "Sixbanger". Acoustic drums were used on the cd like on track #7 Hate Hate, (thanks to Tucker Martine), and a few sampled ones too. The steel guitar on track #8 was played by Kevin Suggs (another creative Seattle musician).Bits of String and mellatron sounds are all over the cd. Michael Penn, Jon Brion, Joseph Arthur, and Joe Henry are big influences for me. I tried very hard to emulate some of the things I like best from their music, to the best of my ability, while still reamining true to my own style
