Album Notes

Mike Murphy was born in New Mexico, raised in Texas and transplanted to Utah where he has taught High School for 32 years. He developed a guitar program there that is one of the largest in the U.S. Mike began playing guitar when he was 12 years old and has performed in bands and as a solo performer in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah. He met his wife of 34 years while performing at a resort in Colorado in 1971, after which he finished a music degree at Texas Tech and moved to Utah in 1974. In 1985 he released his first album of original songs and now has four albums. The most recent one entitled “Friends” was released in 2001.

Mike Murphy does it again, on his second album he returns to his Christian roots with heartfelt songs like "Tell Me Why" and "Through a Fathers Eyes".  Mike's clean vocals, hearfelt lyrics and great guitar fills make this CD a must have for anyone be they Christian or not.
