ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hi
Im Mike Olson.
I grew up in the northwest,As a kid I listened to country music in the car as I travled from town to town living
all over the northwest.
From Montana,Idaho,Washington,Oregon and finally landing in Alaska.
See my mom had a hard time staying in one place to long,I bet I moved over sixty five places before I turned 18.
Once I did turn 18 It was time to settle down and grow some roots.
I ended up way up north in the greatland "ALASKA'' sounds colder than it is,matter of fact! I've been colder in Washington than in Alaska.
I started playing music as a kid.
When I was 13 years old I got my first guitar and the rest is history.
I formed a couple of bands along the way and played all over the state of Alaska.
Lots or bars, state fair, town fairs, even opened up for country legend John Michael Montgomery in Anchorage when He came up WOW! what a blast! its been.
Well? all the songs on My Cool Country cd are all from moments in my life
I like to call them life lessons.
Thanks for listening. And I hope you enjoy my CD.

Thanks again

Mike Olson.
