A Fabulous cd packed with music including the Youtube hit song Bush(War Machine)/Out of Iraq! Mike O'Neill of Elroy & the Die hards fame and co-writer of the hit "We Love Brett Favre" teams up with singer/song writer Eric William Toutant to provide you with some damn fine Rock/Country Rock with Folk and Classic Rock roots. Look for the video Bush (War Machine) on Youtube and please tell your friends. This song sends a clear message to the White House and George W. Bush that we have no business in this quagmire/monkey-mess Vietnam-like war. Bring our troops home!!!!!!! We can make a difference if we care enough to let our voices be heard! The cd begins with a sleek rocker titled baby that harkens back to the day when rock and roll was about singing (not screaming). It continues with a beautiful power ballad ala Rascal Flatts/Lonestar called Fate. After Bush(War Machine), we have our rockin' cover of the Peter, Paul & Mary tune Leavin' On A Jet Plane, followed by the uplifting and bittersweet Open Your Heart. Eric strikes radio country gold with Page in Your Past . And Mike shreds a hair metal classic co-written by Rick "the Stick" Gotliebson titled "Thrills in the Night". CJ Udeen of Hank III fame plays pedal steel on Quarter Past Midnight and Eric and Mike intertwine Clapton-esque guitar lines with a wall of vocals that would put Styx and Journey to shame on Cheap Guitar, Cheap Perfume. Eric exposes his tender side on the beautifully written "Little World" which tells the story of a man who discovers that his children mean everything to him. Mike sings the story of a guy who put his music before his wife and paid for his dedication with his marriage on the powerful ballad "Makin' Music". And finally, Mike and Eric ask the existential question thats on almost everyones' mind "Where Do We Go From Here?" There are so many musicians on this cd, I truly have lost count, but in no particular order here we go.... CJ Udeen, Mike Vlahakis (formerly of Luther and Bernard Allison),Mike "Stubby" Lien, Denny Marion, Matt Hanson, the crew at Oarfin Studios, the crew at Starborn,Scott Erickson (formerly of the Kingsmen and the Ohio Express, Steven Stabenow, Scott Muller(of the M.O.B.) and whoever else I spaced out.
