ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Mike Pachelli - électricité

Los Angeles based guitarist Mike Pachelli has teamed up with Andrew W.K. and recorded a free jazz fusion CD reminiscent of Miles Davis (circa 1967). Together with AWK's drummer, Rich Russo, and world class bassist Dennis Harding (from Taiwan) they recorded the CD in one day, LIVE, at Morrisound studios in Tampa, Florida.

"I've known Andrew for quite some time and was well aware of his technical prowess on the piano," Mike says. "So we decided to put a quartet together, do a few gigs - like at the Baked Potato here in L.A. - and then record a CD."

The result is a free jazz excursion down the highways of all of the musicians influences - sure to amaze and entertain the listener with a palette of colors and musically improvised twists and turns that only these four musicians could have created. I think it's positively BRILLIANT!
