Mike Ringler has been a diehard Beatles fan since the first time they appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show in the early sixties. His musical world has been shaped by them, along with so many other artists from that era, and has expanded since then to include a passionate love for artists within the genres of Progressive Rock and Hard Rock as well. A drummer since the age of fifteen, Mike subsequently transferred his musical abilities to guitar, bass, and a touch of keyboards. All of this has enabled Mike to handle all musical responsiblities for his recordings without the need for outside musicians. Mike's vocal talents cover a fairly broad spectrum, but his favorite style has had listeners commenting regularly about how much he sounds like John Lennon on many of his songs, which Mike says thrills and honors him beyond belief. Many of Mike's songs from his first CD, "Walking On Abbey Road", received airplay on a renowned Beatles oriented British radio show, with one track even being included on an international Charity CD released in June, 2006. Now with the completion of "Writes Of Summer", featuring eight new songs all written and recorded in his home studio during June and July 2006, Mike is confident that people who take the time to listen will find it a most enjoyable and substantial CD.
