Album Notes

In Sept 2011, Mike Vial headed back to Catherine North Studios to work with Canadian producer moon:and:6 again. This EP captures Mike's growth as a songwriting and offers a glimpse of Mike with his full band, The Great Lake Effect. What hasn't changed is Mike's focus on interesting chord progressions and accessible, poetic lyrics. This third EP focuses on themes of transition, distance, love, forgiveness, and courage, crossing bridges of folk, pop, and rock.
