"One Day" is a short collection of songs written over the years. It reveals a deep spiritual quest for the meaning of the ever so elusive truth. The search continues. Daily, I battle a neuromuscular disease. It drove me to record the music now before it strips me of the ability to strum a guitar or sing a song. Listen closely to the lyrics and enjoy the music. I will see you one day soon. Soul searching songs that stir the heart.

One Day
author: Gordon Blevins
One of the problems that I find with quite a lot of the Bluegrass and Bluegrass Gospel music recorded today is that there is a trend toward overproduction. Bluegrass is simple music and should be simply sung and simply played. I recently reviewed a new west coast bluegrass album that had violins (yep, not fiddles) in the background. Not Good. This is a well sung and recorded album. The vocals are just where they should be, out front. I was impressed by the lyrics and the heartfelt way in which they were sung. Kudos to you!

The lyrics speak for themselves. . . full of imagery and mysterious poetry, supported by Mike's creative musical richness. The CD moves from the complex and ethereal to the profoundly simple . You will be touched by his musical artistry, challenged by the lyrics, and engaged by his full baritone voice.

His songs are a spiritual reminder of how grateful we should be for being alive.
author: Patricia Lopez
His songs are so spiritual and heartwarming that they remind me of how I feel in my heart, soul and mind. The lyrics and music blend in so beautifully. Mike has so much to give but in choosing to share his music with the rest of the world proves without a doubt that he is not only a talented musician but an Angel on Earth.
