Burch’s original fairy tale “Metamorphosis” appeared in print in Xanadu 2, edited by Jane Yolen, and was on the long list of nominations for the James Tiptree, Jr. Memorial Award in 1995. “Dragonfield” was adapted from the novella of the same name by Jane Yolen.
An internationally known performer, award-winning recording artist, acclaimed writer of modern fairytales and sought-after teacher of her craft, Milbre Burch is a storyteller in every sense of the word.
