Album Notes
Out of North Shore Mass. Mile 21 are a 7 piece ska/roots/reggae act with a big sound! Formed in 1999 the band has gone through a few stylistic changes to bring them up to the music you hear today. With influences from all over the Jamaican spectrum to blues and jazz right here in the US, Mile 21 bring a wonderful mix of culture to the stage through their music. The band is tight and has high energy, but can keep the slow steady groove that any reggae band aspires to achieve. Recording and producing this self titled album on their own, the band has set goals to continue to tour further out from their home base, with plans to record a second full length at the end of next year, to be released by us here at Megalith Records!
If you are not a reggae fan before Mile 21, you will be afterwards, if not, you will at least be a fan of Mile 21 music, reggae or not!
