Miles Rabun (13) and William Rabun (11) are the phenomenal young authors of the popular children's picture book, “My Grandma’s Backyard”. They released their first professional recording, entitled My Grandma’s Backyard Fun Song in 2008. The Fun Song wasinspired by their book, My Grandma’s Backyard, a fun-filled tale that reflects two brothers’ adventures with their grandmother.

Miles and William have been Visiting Authors and Guest Readers in national festivals, schools, libraries, churches and museums and annually participate in several Read Across America and Read-In events. They have been featured on several news programs including Good Morning Atlanta and Raleigh, and North Carolina’s WRAL TV’s Living the Legacy Series; Miles and William also appeared on the Michael Baisden Show and have been featured in a number of publications including Carolina Parent, Kidsville News, The News & Observer, The Independent, Total Connection, and Durham’s Partnership for Children Newsletter.

The My Grandma’s Backyard Fun Song was also included in the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) Bulletin and in 2010, Miles and William were featured guest authors in the Savannah Children’s Book Festival where over 35,000 people were in attendance. The Fun Song and the Young Authors continue to travel in 2011 and for the first time, the music will be accessible by folks all around the world!
