Album Notes

Welcome to Miller's Farm, home of the best American music out of Brooklyn, NY. This is acoustic-based country, blues, folk and rock that evokes the mood of rural America, and combines it with lyrics and emotions that could only come from the city.

The second track, 'Williamsburg Cannonball' best defines Miller's Farm. This twangy two-step is written in the tradition of train songs such as 'Wabash Cannonball' and 'Folsom Prison Blues'. But unlike the songs before it, 'Williamsburg...' definitely comes from the city, taking us under 14th Street in Manhattan with an anxious lover on the L Train.

Singer/songwriter Bryan Miller's clear, strong vocals are at home through the different song styles and he is able to push the narratives along, drawing the listener's attention with him.

The combination of solid, narrative songwriting, infective hooks, strong vocals, skilled musicians and clear production make this album one not to miss.

Incredible!!!!!!!

Bryan Miller is an incredible talent, both vocally and instrumentally. Bryan's voice is crystal clear with a tremendous range. This amazing debut CD has barely scratched the surface of this gifted singer/songwriter's abilities. The seasoned musicians naturally click to create a flowing output of fun, funky, toe-tap inducing country with a unique urban flair. I highly recommend this to anyone like myself who has longed for something authentic these days. Miller's Farm will fulfill that gap.

This album is amazing. I heard the band for the first time less than a year ago and I can't help but listen to the album over and over again. If you've heard of Miller's Band you know what I mean, if you haven't this CD is a must.

It reminds me of soulful music that you don't hear anymore. The vocals really hit home. I was amazed when I first heard them live, the CD is now in first in my disc changer! :)

I didn't think I liked country music, but this CD is great. The songs are fun and take me back to my "city" roots.
