"Milo is a man for all seasons. His music is accessible to both the listener and the musician. This is why many find it easy to collaborate with him. Milo's sounds are both deep and playful. I am soooooo glad I have had the privilege to be acquainted with his wonderful music!"
- Janet Murphy, Indiana.
"If anyone is looking for a good musician to add a little extra something to their music - Milo is the guy to do it - You rock Milo !"
- Rob Blaikie, UK.
"I haven't heard such great music since the days I couldn't stop listening to ELP, King Crimson, Traffic, and Yes. This was after their time, mind you. ;) Milo Black Rocks!!"
- Kim Novak, Texas.
This album is composed of collaborations between Milo (in the UK) and ten different singers, musicians and songwriters from all over the USA, done between September 2000 and August 2001. How is it done? Via the Internet, of course. The musicians on this album have never met. Can you tell? No, of course not. It just sounds like good music.
There are songs from Milo's three Internet Bands - Grumpy and Lumpy (with Duane Tate), Raspberry Silk (with Kim Novak) and Two Outlaws and a Lady (with Tammy Swindell and Duane Tate), plus an assortment of "one-offs", "occasionals" and "guest appearances". Three of ths songs on this CD have been Number Ones on the MP3.com genre charts, and another four have reached the Top Three on the same charts.
This is a varied listen - like Janet says, Milo is "a man for all (musical) seasons", so you will hear several different shades of rock, blues, easy-listening, techno dance and trip-hop tunes. Dive in, sample and enjoy.
