Album Notes

Mils moved to Saskatchewan early in life and grew up in Saskatoon and Prince Albert. He has been composing, producing, while also writing, rapping on hip hop albums as well as the stage since 1998. Besides producing music and performing with Innersoulflow, Mils has had work featured on over 25 releases so far throughout North America and the rest of the world. Mils is fast becoming known as an “artist’s artist” in the concious hip hop world. His talent for producing fresh, progressive music with compelling unheard of beats drawn from the collective soul is attracting renowned concious hip hop artists to his door from all over North America. This all started when he began having his production featured on heavyweight artists albums like the Living Legends such as CMA, The Grouch, Luckyiam.PSC Pigeon John (Quannum), as well as Scarub to name a few.

After producing numerous records for other artists for so long, Mils decided it was time to release his own solo debut album! This idea materialized into a masterpiece called “The AND Album”, which features MC’s from all corners of Turtle Island (North America). Notable features are Manik1derful in Vancouver, BC, to MC Paul Barman from New York to get a small idea.

Recently Mils has worked with Atlanta based artist Stic.Man of Dead Prez and the Outlawz. Along with success on an international level, Mils also won “Best Hip/Hop/Rap Album” at the Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards held in Toronto in 2005 for his sister Eekwol’s debut album entitled “Apprentice 2 The Mystery” which was composed, co-written, and produced by Mils.

The "And" Album is a solid demonstration of creative beats along with an amazing mix guest artists who are far above average and far from the norm in what most people consider "Hip Hop". This album is a must have for all fans of concious, fun, progressive, underground, and commercial hip hop! Enjoy!
