Album Notes

The Milwaukees have combined influences from across the rock spectrum to come up with the powerful sound heard on their full-length album entitled MISSILE COMMAND.

Produced by Wayne Dorell (Tonic, Chavez) MISSILE COMMAND combines a huge rock sound with an earnest, indie-rock aesthetic. It is melodic in ways you can't forget while maintaining a musical tension you can't ignore.

TIME OUT NY says:
Not at all from the Mid-West, The Milwaukees are a North Jersey trio (now a quartet) that distinguish themselves from the rest of the emo-rock crowd by actually expressing some emotion, rather than just peering inward, and they charge forward with energy and nice melodies and harmonies. Good Stuff.

THE AQUARIAN says:
The Milwaukees lash out with an initial one-two-three punch that'll leave most listeners completely breathless.

Energizing!

I bought Missile Command on a recommendation that if I liked this other band, I should try The Milwaukees. Wow, that was on target! These guys put it all together just right. Every song on this CD has sharp-biting vocals combined with near perfect melodic presence. The firm-catchy rhythms on this CD leave you breathlessly waiting for each new song to begin. The song Doesn’t Really Matter leaves the greatest aftertaste in your head of all time.

Some call it "Emo," but this is just good old, heartfelt indie rock.

INCREDIBLE!!!!

Is there any better feeling than discovering a great new band?(O.K, besides THAT) That's the feeling I got when I heard the Real Audio samples from Missile Command. I ordered the cd right away. There's not a bad song on this album, in fact, they're all incredible. Missile Command takes you from the soft touch of If You Only See it My Way, to in-your-face rock with Cosmonaut and keep the balance with songs like the super catchy, Doesn't Really Matter. Every song has it's own unique touch and thanks to a great production job by Wayne Dorell, the sound of this record will blow you away. With a wall of melodic guitars, a solid rhythm section and Dylan Clark's powerful vocals, this album is one of the best I've ever heard. Emo-rock, melodic-rock, who cares what you call it! The Milwaukees just make great music.
