I stumbled across this CD at our public library years ago and have been hooked on it ever since. The brilliant collection of less famous songs and old favorites combined with Bessette's gorgeous voice makes for perfection in a lullaby CD.

I remember having this CD when my grandson was born. I would rock him while listening to it, and it would absolutely lull him to sleep...which is, after all, what a lullabye is for! Recently I was thinking about a couple of the songs on it I particularly loved, and went to search for the CD on the internet. Happily, I found it! When I played it once again it was a trip down memory lane, and I loved it just as much as I ever had. Last night, my grandson, now nine, came to spend the night, and as a surprise, I put the CD on for him...he hadn't heard it in years, but he smiled and got all dreamy-eyed, just like he used to. What a wonderful thing!
