Since making this CD, Mimi has taken journeyed through 'the (meno)-Pause that refreshes'. Rearranged and reinvented, she has taken the name Mosa (like the Mimosa tree). Mimi Baczewska (can you say Baa chef' ska?) A simple name really. At first glance Mimi's last name appears tough to pronounce.

But when you give it a try, it's easy. Unique, sturdy, melodious ... just like her music.

Ethereal, passionate, empowering, unflinchingly self-revealing. These are some of the words which have been used to describe the music of Mimi Baczewska.

Referred to as 'the modern folk troubador', Mimi's musical moods range from the gently acoustic to the irresitably dancable with a tongue in cheek, sarcastic or sassy number thrown in for good measure.

Her most recent release, 'For The Love Of You' features thirteen fresh tunes and a seasoned maturity in her voice, words and music that have an uncanny ability to embrace, prod and remind. Lush textures, rich arrangements and smooth vocals, accompanied by guitar, piano and keyboard are signatures of Mimi's art. An acoustic showcase of genres and instruments including: rainstick, toy piano, finger cymbal, baby rattle, djembe, dhakkabella, monkey pods, pots and pans, pennywhistle and accordian, illuminate this recording.
