What happens when you tour with the Backstreet Boys for a year?

As pop singer/ songwriter/ multi-instrumentalist Mindi Abair discovered, a lot.

In the year she spent playing keyboards, saxophone and percussion with "The Boys", she amassed a following of over 1,000,000 fans, all flocking to her website , asking one question, where can I buy your CD???

With the recent release of "Always and Never the Same", she is finally able to respond to the wave of requests!

It wasn't always this way - Mindi grew up on the road with her father's musical group and started playing music at the age of 4.

She has been featured on the MTV Music and Movie Awards, The Tonight Show, the Rosie O Donnell Show and Melrose Place, and has toured with Adam Sandler and Mandy Moore among others.

She most recently opened for the April 2000 Johnny No Name tour featuring AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys.

Mindi sings, plays keyboards, soprano saxophone and percussion on this cd.

Produced and co-written by Matthew Hager, this sparsely arranged disc is rich with melody and lyrical depth.

Mindi has been described as a cross between Gwen Stefani from No Doubt, Sixpence None the Richer and Natalie Imbruglia, however she stands alone as a diversely talented individual, with thoughtful lyrics, undeniable musicianship and a very real edge.
