Hailing from Glace Bay, NS, blues, folk, rock, country and Celtic are all musical threads that weave their way through Matt Minglewood's 12th recording 'The Story'. 'The Story' features 11 newly penned songs, 'Dorchester', done the way it was originally written plus as a bonus track, a heart felt rendition of 'The Patriot Game'. These songs grapple with the universal feelings of passion, frustrations, hope, loneliness, love and disappointment as well as Matt's deep love of the Maritimes. The 13 cut cd showcases Matt's song writing and singing at his best and captures the intensity and passion he is so well known for.
