WORKING MAN'S DILEMMA, is the second album for THE MINIMUM WAGE BAND. Their debut album MWB had an amazing response and should not be missed.
The Minimum Wage Band are the most exciting retro classic rock band to emerge from the LosAngles music scene in years. Their unique blend of melodic ballads coupled with high energy rock and roll classics insure their music to be timeless. They take their name from all the hard working people of the world who are mostly overworked. Underpaid and rarely appreciated. The appeal is universal as their audience is drawn from all demographics. The music and lyrics speak a common language of peoples hopes and desires. In a musical world that is full of samples, grunge and negativity, The Minimum Wage Band offers a breath of fresh air. The group emerged from L.A.’s club scene to become a force in the retro classic rock movement. Their song craftsmanship, meticulous arrangements and outstanding live performances at prestigious venues like the Country Club, Club M, and the legendary Palomino Club have brought them critical acclaim.
The Minimum Wage Band was formed in April of 1992 by Mark Kohler and Mark Borsuk. Spencer Davis of the Spencer Davis Group raves about this band. At most live performances Spencer will sit in playing guitar and adding vocals. As a result of Spencer’s involvement many top named musicians have also appeared in live performances and added their talent to some tracks on their debut CD. To mention few, Rick Serrate, Lenny Castro, Matt Andes, Doug Livingston, Johny Barbata, Mike Landeau, Vinnie Donofrio, Efran Toro, Reggie McBride.
