Minister Slugger, formerly known as just Slugger has been producing music for 10 years. He has had previous success in his production career for producing tracks for artists such as Lil'Flip & some members of Dj Screw's screwed up click. After his career came to a halt, Minister Slugger realized that there was a missing piece to the puzzzle of his life & career. With producing tracks for many well known artists, Minister Slugger assumed that he was on his way up, especially after producing a track on LIl'Flip's platinum cd UNDAGROUND LEGEND. He then relealized that he was not going to prosper, because he was running from GOD's call for him to preach. On November 9. 2003 Minister Slugger surrendered to the call of GOD & hence forth is known as MINISTER SLUGGER. Bringing the same pounding beats that he was producing for non-Christian rap artists, he still packs that same punch on the tracks for CHRIST. Capturing the attention of the streets with anointed beats & lyrics. Minister Slugger's mission is to bring the Gospel to the streets & touch souls through the vessel of rap, in a way that all people can understand & feel. To deliver a word from GOD into mainstream radio & tv to a generation that needs to hear & see GOD.
