Album Notes
The Minnesota Scandinavian Ensemble was founded in
1974 by LeRoy Larson, and has been recording traditional
Scandinavian and Scandinavian-American folk dance
music and songs since then. This includes Norwegian,
Swedish, Finnish and Icelandic music. Their specialty
is music indigenous to the midwest, original composi-
tions, and humorous dialect songs. This is the tenth
CD by the ENSEMBLE. Instruments featured are accordion,
botton-box, fiddle, banjo, guitar, piano, mandola,
mandolin and string bass. In 2003 the ENSEMBLE was
invited to Washington D.C. to perform concerts at the
Library of Congress and the Kennedy Center For The
Performing Arts.

I've been looking for "Yon Yonson's Vedding" for a long time. My father used to sing this song when I was a kid. I'm going to suprise him with this for his birthday
