About Minuette Coit
Minuette Layetta Addison Coit was born and raised in Hartsville SC to Mrs Virginia Ann McDonald Addison and Mr Willie J. Goodson. She is the granddaughter of the late Mrs Ruth Sutton McDonald and the late Mr. And Mrs. Dorthy Grooms Goodson. Coit is the youngest of six siblings(Michele, Veronica, Carlissia, Michael, Jimmy). She has been blessed with two beautiful children(Miyetta and Toddrik).Coit is a graduate of Hartsville Sr. High School and continued her education in various nursing and rehabilatation classes and trainings. She has been employed with Darlington County School District for eight years and as worked several educational mentoring and tutoring programs.
She attends Centerville A.M.E. Church were she began singing when she was three years old. Coit was the lead singer on the youth choir for many years. She also singswith her aunts Sister Lula and The McDonald Singers officially known as The Gospel Sevens since she was fourteen. Endowed with this wealth of experience, skills, and Godly wisdom, Minuette was able to lead forth an invigorating, exciting and extraordinary career in singing.
Minuette passion has always been her love for God. Praising, worshiping, and ministering to his people thru song has been her life long mission. Through prayer fasting and hard work, Coit has done great things and enflunced many souls to God. The Beat Goes On as Minuette steps into the New Millennium. Coit philosophy is (If I live my life in the way of holiness and live according to Gods will, Great will be my reward even while on earth!!)
Her prayer is that every time she open her mouth to bless God, a fresh anointing will fall in the sanctuary. Her prayer is also that everyone will be able to feel Gods Glory give reverence to his presence. Her ministry will forever continue to revive, renew, and restore a rebirth in the people of God!!
