The members of Minute to Midnight began performing together in 1997 at a church in Huntsville, Alabama under the name Perfect Praise. Since that time the group has been through many changes, but its focus has remained the same: to spread the good news of a crucified and risen Savior through song.

In the year 2000 the group changed its name to Minute to Midnight. The change was inspired by a desire to cause people to consider the time in history in which we now live; to let everyone know we are closer than ever to the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; just one figurative minute from the Midnight Cry; the moment when Jesus gathers his faithful and calls them home.

Minute to Midnight has been blessed with many opportunities to minister in various places including Alabama, California, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio and Ontario, Canada. In 2003 Minute to Midnight was named the “Hottest” gospel group by Huntsville, Alabama radio station WEUP. As part of its ministry God has blessed the group to pen original songs of hope and inspiration that they have shared with church congregations, wedding parties, and the public at large. In 2007 the group released their first, self-titled CD, Minute to Midnight, recording the music they have written and co-produced under the direction of the Holy Spirit.

As the second coming of Christ draws ever nearer, it is the desire of each of the groups members Nichola, Glenda, Joy and LaTonia to spread the news of the message of his love to every ear that is able to here. It is their mission to tell the world of the last words spoken by Christ as recorded in the Holy Scriptures, “Yes, I am coming soon”. Revelation 22:20
