After Sam is nearly paralyzed by a gruesome vehicle-on-pedestrian car accident in Missouri while trying to push a stalled tour van out of the road, Clayton finally has enough of the glamour life and leaves the band. Ed moves into a cabin in the country and stops showing up for practice.

Sam, Jason, and Brian go to Omaha and record these songs with Alex McManus (Bruces, Lambchop). Alex Body of Twelve Cannons joins the group, lays down keys on the album, and begins playing shows with MOG. This is the most cohesive, powerful, and well-recorded Miracles album of the three.
