Album Notes

Misa Micevski (pronounced something like Misha Michewsky) is a guitar player from Serbia( part of former Yugoslavia).
After many years of playing, composing and performing with various artists Misa has finally released his debut album “TWO SHORES”.
His playing and music concepts are influenced by many great artists, such as John McLaughlin, Allan Holdsworth, Pat Metheny, Chick Corea,Joe Zawinul,Michael Brecker etc.
The music on this album contains intricate harmonic, melodic and rhythmic structures and shimmering guitar harmony layers with powerful lead sounds.
He is one of those players who tries to expand the expression possibilities of a guitar as an instrument.
The music is performed as a trio with some added guitar synths textures.
Misa manages to tastefully and adeptly alternate between subtle lyricism and wild powerful playing.
Musicians featured on this album are Srdjan Milacic on bass guitar and Dusan Novakov on drums .
Even before the release of this album in December 2007 for PALINDROM records,Misa’s music has produced very good feedback within different music communities due to his presentation on the internet .
