The Misplaced Comedy Group!
See why MP3.com named them "The Internet's #1 Comedy Troupe", and why American idol Magazine quoted them as one of "The Best Emerging Artists" of the year. ...and how they utilized the technology of the time, before anyone else!
With The Original Podcast Series, you can hear for the... second time how the MCG utilized the newest technology of podcasting to present a Non-Stop showcase of their "Greatest Hits" of that era.... Something that had never been done before by any other comedy troupe, and even before podcasting was noted as being TiVo for radio broadcasts.
In 2005, when these broadcasts were first aired, these shows were one of only 9 available on podcast directories, including iTunes! While other broadcasts were only available in a 'talk' format, The MCG utilized this technology to bring back an Old Tyme Radio format, that included comedy sketches, parody songs, and comical commercials to fill an entire half hour of entertainment. This series includes 2 shows as they were originally displayed.
The CD Jacket includes brief stories behind the sketches and productions, as well as thumb nail photos from their live shows and while they were in the studio.
