Miss Amy is a spirited and lively singer/songwriter who delights in performing for children. Currently she entertains at children's parties, local venues and special events. She is a music instructor with Kids' Music Round, provides voiceovers for radio and television and teaches yoga in her spare time. A mom of two young boys (who can be heard on the CD), she loves interacting and reaching out to children through music - and it shows! Amy credits her musician husband Alex for the inspiration and hard work it took to create her first children's CD. He can be heard playing the trumpet, drums, keyboard, and singing on the CD as well. As a team, Amy and Alex continue to collaborate on a variety of musical projects.

    I love the lyrics, the mix of styles, and the high-quality production values, which includes the singer's pleasing and versatile voice. I have a grandson and two godsons who will get this CD before Christmas. We'll all look forward to next year's CD!

    My 18 month old son and I love this CD! It is a lot of fun and unlike other kids CD's that seem to always have the same songs and melodies. It is great to dance to and sing along with. Miss Amy is great!!

    This CD features fun, snappy songs that my children love. The title track, Underwater, is a particular favorite as Miss Amy has the most interesting ability to sound like she's actually singing underwater! (I've seen this live, so it's no trick!) It's the most requested CD in my car!

    My son loves this CD! "Mommy can I hear Miss Amy again?" and I don't mind because I enjoy it too! This Cd is a fantastic collection of Miss Amy's original songs. It exposes children to many music styles--New Olrleans rag, jazzy brass band sound, a latin flavor of the Tango and the Cha Cha, a lovely Waltz tempo lullibye, and even a gentle fun three little piggy rap! Love the messages:pick it up, being special while welcoming a new child to a family, the delight and goodness of green food, tubby is fun, independance and more. And....it is fun for adults, one you will want to hear time and time again as well!

    All the things kids love -- playing submarine at bathtime, pretending to be a monkey in the jungle, being grown up enough to "Do it myself!" Parents and grandparents will get a big kick out of Green Food with its ragtime beat. Will the kids eat their spinach? Maybe. The three lullabies at the end of the CD are guaranteed to put them to sleep. My favorite is Magical Waltz. Kids can act out the songs, participate in My name Is . . ., learn to talk about their feelings when they become a big sisters or brothers. What a delightful collection for grown-ups and little ones.

    Each song is in its own style, sort of like what Tom Chapin does. Very creative and fresh, not a rehash of the same old children's stuff. This is for you, especially on those long family car rides...

    As a parent and former kindergarten teacher, I 've heard LOTS of kids' music and this is the best. The songs are fun, easy to listen to, great for sing-a-long in the car, and some of them help teachers and parents teach values in a gentle way. Amy and her fantastic musical back-up team are fun for kids of all ages. I'm buying 20 for birthdays and holiday presents for kids and grandkids.
