Album Notes

Miss Autopsy is a one-person band that plays distorted psych-rock with a songwriting style themed with paranoia, disease, and conflicted ethics, among other things. The lone person involved is Steve Beyerink, and during live shows all you'll see is him behind a microphone with his white Telecaster while a drum machine provides percussion. He hopes to have a full band in the near future, or at least a real drummer, but in his hometown of Des Moines, Iowa, musicians of his kind are scarce and tend to move away. In the past few years he has also called Omaha and Minneapolis home, but never stayed in either place longer than six months. The first Miss Autopsy album, "Ruhr," was released without a label in October 2003. Future plans are to tour sporadically, and either find or start a label to release future recordings.
