Album Notes

Cathy Glickman obtained her Bachelors of Science degree from Illinois State University in Medical Technology in 1985. She worked as a microbiology specialist for thirteen years in local Chicago area hospitals before she decided to follow her heart. She has now become a passionate advocate of children's music. She has been a successful Kindermusik instructor in Chicago's Northwest Suburbs for seven years. Miss Cathy is loved and adored by her students for her energetic style and passion for singing and celebrating the individual child. She has been a member and soloist of the Music Institute of Chicago's Chorale for over ten years and has recently explored singing lead vocals in a local Lake Forest band, "TAILFIN". In 1999, Cathy auditioned and was chosen to sing Handel's Messiah at Carnegie Hall , in New York City under the direction of conductor John Rutter.

Miss Cathy looks forward to being able to share her new CD , Mornings with Miss Cathy, with the young and the young at heart. Miss Cathy enjoys spending time with her husband of sixteen years, Marty, her two musical children, Carly and Joel, and her beloved Westie puppy, Gershwin.
