notes
mississippi chris sharp and the jang-a-lang string band are the live highlight of the sucarnochee revue. this is a live radio series that is located at the university of alabama and is syndicated to dozens of stations of over the country. when you talk about roots music, this is what you're talking about as the series celebrates the culture of the black belt region of alabama and mississippi. silverwolf is producing a 5 album series in support of this great series that features the four "regulars"-mississippi chris sharp and the jang-a-lang string band, jacky jack white, britt gully and j. burton fuller
mississippi chris sharp and the jang-a-lang string band are simply a very fun folk/country/bluegrass/their own sound band. it is quite infectious to hear their set. this album represents their highlights from previous sucarnochee review shows and is highly recommended for lovers of great roots music as this is as good as it gets
