Miss Lynn's favorite things are singing and being with kids. Performing songs from her new CD, "Outside the Lines," gives her the opportunity to do both!
After many years of not-quite-fitting into more conventional jobs (including as a Children's Librarian and Director of Christian Education), Miss Lynn was inspired to follow a more unique path--writing and performing music for kids. The title song from her CD, "Outside the Lines," deals with the theme of doing things your own way. She hopes it will inspire listeners to find their own paths, too!
Miss Lynn got her Bachelor's degree in German Studies from Vassar College (Poughkeepsie, NY), and her Master's in Library Service from Rutgers University (New Brunswick, NJ). Her favorite color is yellow.

You and your kids will love it

Miss Lynn combines witty lyrics with catchy tunes to create fun songs that don't talk down to kids. I bought one for my son's daycare center and all the kids start dancing when they hear it. Adults will love this CD too (I even learned a few very good words listening).
I have also given several CDs as gifts and always hear positive comments back.

What a great album. Miss Lynn, is a talented artist who knows how to appeal to children and grown-ups. Her lyrics are thought provoking and entertaining. The album also has some sweet mellow songs at the end which have a nice calming effect.

If you put "Outside the Lines" by Miss Lynn on for the kids to listen to, you had better not be doing something that requires your concentration. You'll find yourself captivated by the rhythm, the words, and the clever construction of each song. My favorites are Good Words amd Clap MY Feet but they are all good listening for kids and "older kids" alike.
