Mister Mark a.k.a. Mark Burrows a.k.a. Daddy grew up in small-town West Texas.
He is a singer/songwriter with over 100 published songs to his name. Publishers of his music include Abingdon Press, Shawnee Press, and Warner Brothers.
Mister Mark believes the two most wonderful sounds in the world are the laughter and the singing of children.
He feels very lucky to have a job that allows him to hear both.
His music may best be classified as smart-funny.
How many songwriters would have chickens cluck Vivaldi's Four Seasons? or fuse driving rock with iambic pentameter? or have a penguin and a flamingo fall in love? Well Mister Mark does, stopping at nothing to make kids laugh, love music, and maybe even learn a little something.

I went to college with Mister Mark and was so pleased to get this CD! My almost five year old daughter loves all of the songs and just giggles while listening to each one. I'm also amazed at all the wonderful tidbits she learns from these songs. I just hope Mister Mark puts out another CD in the near future!

Wild, Crazy, Brilliant!

My kids absolutetly LOVE Mister Mark's CD, You've Got a Song! Our personal favorites are Brainfreeze (a song about eating ice cream too fast), Bruce Weiner, Zoo Dentist (the chorus goes Brush-Brush-Floss-Floss-Rinse-and-Spit), and The Penguin and the Flamingo (one of the funniest songs I've ever heard). He even has chickens cluck a movement of classical music by Vivaldi. This guy is wild, crazy, and we LOVE him!
