Album Notes

Mister One, born Manuel Leon, began his rap career at the young age of 15. Rapping along side other Chicano rap artists from his hometown of Riverside, CA like Lil Sicko & others like Lucky & Pops, he began to record at the infamous "Little Green Studios" with award winner producer Joe Alfaro, of Mr. Capone-E & Hi Power music fame. It was there he met Payaso, an artists/CEO from neighboring San Bernardino, CA. Payaso was impressed by Mister One's musical potential & his ambition & signed him to his independent label Teen Angels Records. His first album "On the Block" sold out within weeks & spread across the Southwest & even as far away as Europe & Japan. He performed along side Payaso & his label mates the youngsters as they toured car shows & night club concerts from California, to Arizona, Idaho, Washington & many other places where his music & persona made him a hit. After a 3 year deal with teen angels, he met his future wife Doll-E Girl, & along with investor Cheryl Mendoza recorded an album "Mister One & Doll-E Girl" titled "I Got Your Back", the album entirely produced by famed west coast producer Fingazz, & their hit single "Do It Daddy" spread like wild fire through the air waves & they enjoyed success while touring the country with Lowrider Magazine & go low ent. After their personal relationship ended mister one found himself at a crossroads in his life & his career. He reunited with friend & former CEO Payaso & re launched his own label " AK ent. Records", the first release in over 2 years titled "rules of the family" features many top artists from the west coast including 40 Glocc of G-Unit West, Spanky Loco, Kokane, Lil Blacky, Lil Sicko & Young Trav.
