Vivid constructions of unpredictable guitar patterns punctuated by hyper-melodic bass and drum lines reveal the Mitchells' admiration for Pavement, the Wedding Present, and Polvo. The band hails from Northampton, Massachusetts - legendary home of Dinosaur Jr., Sebadoh, and the Silver Jews. Hear Where You Are (pgn 014) was co-produced with Thom Monahan (Lily's, Pernice Brothers); mixed by Mark Alan Miller (Stone Coyotes, Free Kitten); and engineered by John Truscinski. This is their first release on the Pigeon Records label and their sixth on Small Batch.
