-born in London, England. At age 15 Mitchell had already established himself as a studio session drummer in Nashville.
-Mitchell's first major exposure was as the drummer for Blues legend: John Lee Hooker .He was also the Opening Act for B.B. King .
-his determination and persistence finally paid off resulting in a three album record deal with CBS Records with his band Hellfield.
-first album contained two hit songs that were released in Europe; as well as a single in England
-when an import copy found its way to an American radio station chain demand was so overwhelming that CBS Canada issued a U.S. release that was met with great success.
-major tours followed: Hellfield was the opening act for the Cars at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto..
-during this very creative period Mitchell had also added song writing and singing to his growing list of musical talents which included a twelve string guitar and keyboards.
-Mitchell then relocated to Los Angeles to focus on song writing and recording new songs in his home studio.
-Mitchell composed the theme song to the movie "Taxi to L.A."..
-he also hosted and produced his own T.V. show "Night Music".Recently Slash & Duff from Velvet Revolver introduced MITCHELL from the stage and welcomed him backstage after the show ..old friends from his days in LA.....With media appearances on Global TVs Morning News & the Classic FM Radio show "Electric Lunch Hour" there is no doubt " HE'S READY"
